The cost for each child is £5 which includes the cost of buses and entry to the cinema or theatre. If you have not paid your child’s money, please do so as soon as possible. If you are able to be a parent helper please notify the office. We only have a limited number of parent helper spaces so it may NOT be possible for parents who turn up on the day to go along. In the event of too many parents wanting to attend, names will be drawn out the hat.

Charity Work Christmas Parties/ Wear your Christmas Jumper

On Friday 16th December we will have our Christmas Parties along with the Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day. Children should bring in £1 as a charity donation. The money raised on this day will be split between two charities, Save the Children and Missio Scotland. Both these charities support children who are suffering as a result of poverty.  As a Catholic school, we value acts of charity and kindness during this Advent Season. This is a non-uniform day. Children can come to school wearing their Christmas Jumpers or party clothes. Hopefully Santa will make an appearance to all our girls and boys!

Christmas Holidays – Wednesday 21st December at 2:30 pm

Enterprise World at Work Week

Well done to the children of the Enterprise group, Mrs Logue and Mrs Brown for organising this year’s enterprise week. We enjoyed visits from many interesting guests including a civil engineer, a doctor, a dentist, a chef,a painter and a joiner. The children also visited Sainsbury’s in Victoria Road and The Hidden Gardens. Our pupils learned about a variety of career options that they could consider in the future.

Playground & Front Gates

Please try to remain as far back as possible when collecting children from the playground at 3 o’ clock and the front gates at 9 o’clock.  The playground can be very busy making it difficult for the children and their teachers to see who should be collecting them. Please also try to ensure that you are ready to collect you child at 3pm. Some children are often not collected until after 3pm which causes distress to the child and can be problematic for the office trying to contact parents.

Building Update

The works have now been completed on the second floor of the building and work is now commencing on the 1st Floor.

Winter Weather Clothing

Please make sure your child has warm footwear and a suitable jacket during the cold Winter months. It is important for children to run around in the fresh air during playtime and lunch breaks and as such will only be indoors when the weather is very bad.
